Thornton minimum wage rate is $12.56 per hour, effective October 2022.
This is the result of a City Council decision to increase the Living Wage for Thornton. This wage applies to regular and temporary City employees. You are entitled to be paid the higher state minimum wage. The minimum wage applies to most employees in Thornton, with limited exceptions including tipped employees, some student workers, and other exempt occupations.
